One night, Clary goes to Pandemonium, a seedy dance club. She finds herself face to face with a demon who moments before, looked like a regular boy. She’s not in any danger because the demon is captured by what they call “shadowhunters.” Clary is the only mundie (the shadowhunter name for humans) who can see and hear them, which leads to Clary’s mother being hunted and taken, by someone they don’t know. The search for her mother leads Clary to the shocking truth about her past and who she really is.
I recommend this book if you are willing to spend a few weeks reading it because its a really long book, and its apart of a series. Its good if you like adventure and romance.
